Not much is known yet about this cloaked man. He has said his name is Nemal, that he is a healer, and that he knows a lot about herbs, but that's it. The rest of the group knows nothing else: his past is a mystery, why he's helping the party is a mystery, how he made it from the Gyspy camp to Penan quicker than the party; no one has even seen his face.

Nemal is always wearing a heavy cloak, even in the desert of Penan. Beneath the cloak, he wears a brown travelling robe most of the time, and wears gloves, too. He hasn't fought with weapons, up to now, so he looks like he's a mage. Still, he has been carrying a sword around, though he hasn't drawn it yet; he might be a warrior-mage or something like that.

Nemal is also a calm person who has a great respect for every other person he meets. His voice sounds a bit elven, so he might be an elf, but then again, he might not. Also, he has greyish-blonde hair and brown eyes; princess Anna of Kerzalt saw them when he was carrying her, and they look quite normal and human... so why does he hide his face?

During his various encounters with the party, diverse things have happened. The first time he appeared, he used some sort of sleeping medicine on Arcus. The second time, he had a conversation with Naya and Phoebe, where he said that he was a healer to help the people directly (rather than, say, to tag along with a party to save the world ^_-), and that everyone he has known up to the time is dead. The third time, the king of Penan asked him to escort the party to Treefall. During the trip, the party fought a giant spider, in front of which Nemal went berzerk and started shooting fire everywhere.

Who is this cloaked man? Why does he stick to the party? Why did he emanate such a strong aura of evil when he fought the spider? Why won't he show his face? Why does he dissapear every night? And why is he so afraid of Zeth?... Maybe there's more to the hooded man than meets the eye (which isn't much, BTW)
